Which Eyeliner Brush Is Right For You?

If you're new to makeup, I'm sure the assortment of eyeliner brushes can lead to a ton of confusion. Here's a guide to which eyeliner brush is right for you.

Studio Angled Eyeliner Brush: This brush is used for precision. The bent part of the brush helps you create your look at a comfortable angle and it's also great for creating a winged effect with your eyeliner. This brush can be used with Cream Eyeliner or even Pencil eyeliner for precision. For use with Pencil Eyeliner, just take some product onto your brush by dipping it into the pencil. The creamier the pencil, the easier it will be to pick up with the brush!

Flat Eyeliner Brush: This brush is also known as the 'Push- Brush' because it is used to 'push' eyeliner into the lash line. This brush is great for using a powder eyeshadow as an eyeliner and getting really close to the lash line for a clean and seamless line. It's also great for applying eyeliner to the lower lash line. The shape of the brush really helps get under the lashes to create a clean line.

Small Smudge Brush: This brush is ideal for any smoky eye. You can apply, and smudge out your liner for a smoky sultry effect. Use with Cream Eyeliner, Pencil Eyeliner, or even Eyeshadow. The shape of the brush also lets you create a wing  when turned sideways.

Small Angled Brush: This brush is kind of foolproof. the shape of the bristles lets you create a straight and even line with any eyeliner of your choice. You can also create a wing with this brush when you turn it around and apply it from the outer edges and bring it in to connect to your eyeliner. This brush might be better for beginners with Cream Eyeliner because you can use short strokes and have a great line every time.
